The
Sequim Lavender Farm Faire celebrates 17 years of lavender farming, on
July 19-21, 2013, as part of Sequim Lavender Weekend, sponsored by the
City of Sequim. We are very excited by the cooperative spirit in the
community and the continuing development of lavender tourism
opportunities.
Thousands
of people from all over the world come to the Sequim-Dungeness Valley
each year to celebrate the spectacular lavender farms…with rolling
fields of lavender, tours of the iconic farms, an arts faire, and
city-wide events.
Our main Sequim location, at Carrie Blake Park/Reuse Demonstration Park
is your family-friendly site for all things lavender – all weekend long.
This must-see location features fine crafts and art, nonprofit
organizations, merchants whose products relate to the theme, great food,
music at the James Center Amphitheatre, family programs, an antique
tractor and logging show, hot air balloon demonstration, and activities
for all. Admission is free and visitors love the park setting.
This is a juried show, and all submissions are judged by overall
quality. However, our region’s fine lavender and lavender products will
only be sold by members of the Sequim Lavender Farmers Association
within the Park (see details in application guidelines).
