Food makes the world go round at the Faire – and this is not your usual fair food.
We have 12 booths at the park and food at all the farms with an international selection for everyone!
Food at the Farms
Each of the farms is a festival itself, with fields of lavender, lavender products, workshops, demonstrations, crafts booths, u-cut, and food!.
Jardin du Soliel Lavender Farm
Come check out Wine on the Waterfront at Jardin du Soleil at the 2013 Lavender Weekend! We will be serving locally smoked salmon, fresh seasonal salads, flatbreads, roasted pork loin and more. They will also be hand selecting some of our favorite Washington wines and great micro brews to add to your experience in the northwest. Sequim's new favorite food truck, Maggie May's Espresso and Outfitter, will also be onsite serving smoothies, coffees, Italian sodas, and fresh baked pastries. See you all soon!
Lost Mountain Lavender Farm
Come and enjoy delicious cuisine from Nourish, Sequim’s newest restaurant, who offer menus created around locally grown or raised organic food. At Lost Mountain Lavender, Nourish will serve dill custard quiches in a buttery gluten-free crust with a choice of three fillings: Nash’s summertime vegetables, Sequim smoked salmon or Sunny Farm’s apple sausage and bacon. Each plate includes a fresh salad of Johnston Farm’s mixed greens, dressed with lavender vinaigrette. Delicious desserts of lavender and lemon infused berry creams will tempt you. Olympic Cellar wines and Fathom & League, Sequim’s artisan beers will be available, as well as Nourish’s own lavender lemonade and lavender wine spritzer. Nourish will demonstrate how to make lavender vinaigrette, wine spritzer and lemonade at scheduled times throughout the festival.

Crumb Grabbers Bakery & Café will be providing delightful treats from their Sequim bakery with box lunches, lavender pastries and baked goods.
Purple Haze Lavender Farm
Oven Spoonful Catering will once again be cooking up local King Salmon-grilled on site, Herbs de Provence grilled chicken, baked beans, corn-on-the-cob and their famous chocolate chip cookie, plus organic greens with Purple Haze Lavender Salad Dressing.
The Bushwhacker Restaurant & Bar will be serving their yummy cheese board, brownies, local wine by the glass, lavender mojitos and lavender margaritas of course!.
Victor’s Lavender Farm & Nursery
Sergio’s Hacienda, one of Port Angeles’s most popular restaurants places will be serving a menu of Mexican favorites.

Washington Lavender is a lavender farm located on the oceanfront property of George Washington Inn, a luxury Bed & Breakfast with views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the city of Victoria. As part of Lavender Week in Sequim, George Washington Inn is hosting High Tea with “George” on the Inn’s piazza overlooking the water! Come relax for a spell and enjoy the view of the Strait, a delicious tea, and even a visit with “George” himself! The three-tiered tea service, catered by Cameron’s Custom Catering, includes lavender and other delicacies.
Throughout Sequim Lavender Weekend and the Farm Faire, July 19, 20, 21, Washington Lavender is a Farm on Tour. Seatings will be at 10:30, 1:00, and 3:30. Advance reservations are required, and the cost is $32.95 per person including tax/gratuity. Reservations for tea on Sequim Lavender Weekend July 19, 20, 21 may be made when purchasing your farm tour ticket online at www.sequimlavender.com, at the Washington Lavender booth at the Arts & Crafts Faire in the Park, at the gift shop on the farm, or by calling 360-452-5207 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. A Farm Tour ticket is required when coming for High Tea on the weekend of the Faire. The menu includes Petit Fours, Cranberry Lemon Squares, Lavender Sugar Straws, Dark Chocolate Dipped Cherry Biscotti, Blueberry Scone with Sweet Lemon Glaze, Lavender Biscuit sided with Strawberry Jam and Whipped Butter, Crab/Shrimp/Mango Salad on Endive, Tomato/Basil/Lavender Ricotta Tea Sandwiches, and Lavender/Dill Cream Cheese with Smoked Salmon/Cucumber Canapé on rye plus our own lavender tea.

Wind Rose Cellars is featuring Lavender Fields ForeverThe Faire poster art for 2013 is “Lavender Fields Forever,” painted by acclaimed musicians and artist Lee Oskar. Lee is famously known as a legendary harmonica virtuoso and one of the original founding members of the Latin, R&B, soul, funk band who composed and recorded many top-ten chart hits including the songs "Low Rider," “Cisco Kid," and "Why Can't We Be Friends.
Lee is working with Wind Rose Cellars and they have produced “Lavender Fields Forever,” a 100% Pinot Grigio made right here in Sequim, from 2012 Yakima Valley grapes. The wine features the 2013 Sequim Lavender Farm Faire artwork which was donated by Lee. The wine will be sold at the Olympic Peninsula Wineries Wine & Beer garden at the Arts & Crafts Faire in the Park at Carrie Blake Park/James Center, at the Wind Rose tasting room in downtown Sequim, and at several farms during the Faire weekend. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sequim Lavender Farmers Association.
Lee has been very generous in his support of the Sequim Lavender Farmers Association through “Dreams We Share.” “Dreams We Share” is an innovative endeavor envisioned by Lee Oskar. By making available for purchase Giclee’s of his original paintings, his project advances awareness and raises funds for local charities.
